Prayer Burdens for February 21, 2023

1. The gospel meeting being held online this upcoming Friday, February 24, in the Crucial Truths of the Bible meeting

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His speaking in the International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) this past weekend on the general subject Making Ourselves Ready for the Lord’s Coming, and prayer that the word released would not return to the Lord vainly but that it will accomplish what He delights in, and prosper in the matter to which He sent it (Isa. 55:11)

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His faithfulness in answering the prayers of the church in the Young People’s Winter Retreat, and prayer for the Lord’s continued operation in the young people through His word

4. The spring term of the Full-Time Training in Anaheim (FTTA) and the training extension in Boston (FTTA-XB)–There are currently 5 trainees from NYC in Anaheim: Rebecca Zhang (2nd term), Benjamin Cooley (3rd term), Libby Sun (3rd term), Dean Deng (4th term), Christyn Hung (4th term), and 1 trainee in Boston: Lesly Ramirez; we give thanks to the Lord for the consecration of these young saints; let us pray that the Lord would gain each one fully and produce each one as a living, functioning member of His Body

5. The need for meeting halls in various localities throughout the country and throughout the world:
a. Atlanta, GA
b. Stuttgart, Germany
c. São Paulo, Brazil
d. Sydney, Australia

Prayer Burdens for February 14, 2023

1. That all the saints would enjoy the Word of God daily and be constituted with the truth so that the church in NYC would shine brightly as a golden lampstand and bear the Lord’s testimony as the pillar and base of the truth

2. The burden for the gospel:
a. The follow-up to all the gospel labor of the FTTA trainees from these past two weeks in NYC, in Upstate NY and in New Jersey, as well as in the rest of North America and in Europe
b. The gospel meeting on Friday, February 24, which will be held online in the Crucial Truths of the Bible meeting
3. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) to be held in Anaheim, CA this upcoming weekend and viewed online locally

4. The Winter Retreat for all the young people in the church in NYC which will be held in Camp Penuel beginning this upcoming Lord’s Day, February 19

5. The strengthening of the church meetings and small group meetings this week, as well as all the practical services in all nine halls

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for February 7, 2023

1. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the citywide gathering of the church in NYC this past Lord’s Day and prayer for the Lord to take the church on this year according to the three banners for the church in 2023:

• Truth constitution (1 Tim. 3:15)–That all the saints, from the youngest to the oldest, would: (1) receive “the love of the truth” (2 Thes. 2:10); (2) contact and enjoy the Word of God daily; (3) be constituted with the truth so that the church would be the pillar and base of the truth and shine forth as the Lord’s testimony in the midst of this dark age

• The prayer ministry of the church (1 Tim. 2:1)–That the Lord would strengthen the prayer ministry of the church so that the church would pray prayers in ascension and of authority for the binding of the enemy, for the building of the church and for the bringing in of the kingdom

• Loving the Lord and loving one another for the building up of the church as the Body of Christ (Eph. 4:15-16)–That all the saints would enjoy the love of the Lord and be renewed in their love for the Lord daily and then love one another and function in the Body out of that love

2. The burden for the gospel and the spread of the gospel in NYC and Upstate NY this week:

a. Thanksgiving to the Lord for the visit of the 6 FTTA trainees who will be going out in the gospel this week with local saints (they will go out primarily to college campuses in Manhattan, such as NYU and Columbia University, and to some communities in Brooklyn)
b. Prayer for the team of 6 FTTA trainees who, together with some brothers from NYC, are visiting Ithaca, Syracuse, Rochester and Buffalo this week in order to labor in the gospel with local saints in each of these localities

3. The young people’s serving ones’ fellowship which will be held at Hall 4 in Brooklyn this upcoming Saturday, February 11

4. The Winter Retreat for all the young people in the church in NYC which will be held in Camp Penuel from February 19-21

5. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) to be held in Anaheim, CA over the weekend of February 17-19

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for January 31, 2023

1. The citywide gathering of the church in NYC this upcoming Lord’s Day, February 5–Let us pray that all the saints will be able to attend, for all the practical services related to this gathering, and for the release of the Lord’s speaking to supply all the saints and to take the church on this year

2. The strengthening of the churches in Upstate NY and the ongoing FTTA gospel trip–The team of 6 FTTA trainees and other burdened saints will visit Rosendale and Albany this week and go out with local saints to preach the gospel on college campuses in and around these localities

3. The strengthening of the churches in New Jersey and the ongoing gospel trip–Another team of 6 FTTA trainees and other burdened saints will visit the churches in NJ this week and go out with local saints to preach the gospel on college campuses, such as Rutgers University and Princeton University, and in various communities (this team will visit NYC next week)

4. All the other FTTA gospel trips taking place this week and next week in Europe (in 20 different countries) and North America (in the U.S. and Canada)

5. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) to be held in Anaheim, CA over the weekend of February 17-19

6. The churches in New Zealand–This upcoming weekend there will be a conference for all the churches in New Zealand with brother Ed Marks

Prayer Burdens for January 24, 2023

1. That the saints of all ages and all language backgrounds would have a renewed and sustained burden for the gospel

Romans 1:9 – For God is my witness, whom I serve in my spirit in the gospel of His Son…
Romans 1:15 – So, for my part, I am ready to announce the gospel to you also who are in Rome.
Romans 1:16 – For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes…

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the young people, college age saints and young adults; let us pray that none would be “carried off as spoil” through the philosophies of this age or the temptations of the world (Col. 2:8; Matt. 6:13) but that they all would “shine as luminaries in the world” “in the midst of a crooked and perverted generation” (Phil. 2:15)

3. The FTTA gospel trips taking place in Europe and North America this month; a total of 233 saints will participate in these trips:
a. The gospel trips in Europe will consist of 16 teams and will reach 20 countries in Europe, and will take place between January 26-February 9
b. The gospel trips in North America will consist of 20 teams in various locations throughout Canada and the United States, and will take place for the most part between January 27-February 11
c. Pray specifically for the two teams which will come to New York this week; one team (6 saints) will serve in NYC and New Jersey; the other team (7 saints) will visit the churches in Upstate NY

4. The Lord’s move in the United States–That the Lord would preserve this nation for the preaching of the gospel and the spread of His testimony

5. Thanksgiving to the Lord for HIs faithful and loving care for the church in NYC and prayer for the citywide gathering of the church on Lord’s Day, February 5

6. The Lord’s move in Brazil:
a. The summer school of truth for the churches in Brazil being carried out this week
b. That the Lord would supply all the needs for the purchase and renovation of the new hall in São Paulo

7. The International Chinese-speaking Conference (ICSC) to be held in Anaheim, CA over the weekend of February 17-19

8. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

Prayer Burdens for January 17, 2023

1. The strengthening of the prayer ministry of the church in 2023:
a. That the church would pray with the Lord’s authority and from the position of ascension, and release “binding” and “loosing” prayers that bring in and spread the Lord’s kingdom
b. The strengthening of all the prayer meetings in the church

Matthew 16:19 – I will give to you the keys of the kingdom of the heavens, and whatever you bind on the earth shall have been bound in the heavens, and whatever you loose on the earth shall have been loosed in the heavens.

2. The strengthening of the saints who are passing through various trials, that they would be “guarded by the power of God through faith” and that “the proving of their faith…may be found unto praise and glory and honor”

1 Peter 1:5 – Who are being guarded by the power of God through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed at the last time
1 Peter 1:7 – So that the proving of your faith, much more precious than of gold which perishes though it is proved by fire, may be found unto praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the children in the church and prayer for all the parents, that they would have the wisdom and the grace to raise the children, and that the children would grow to be vessels “unto honor, sanctified, useful to the master” (2 Tim. 2:21)

4. The FTTA gospel trips taking place in Europe and North America beginning later this month; a total of 233 saints will participate in these trips:
a. The gospel trips in Europe will consist of 16 teams and will reach 20 countries in Europe, and will take place between January 26-February 9
b. The gospel trips in North America will consist of 20 teams in various locations throughout Canada and the United States, and will take place for the most part between January 27-February 11

1. That the faith of all the saints would grow exceedingly and that the love of each of the saints toward the Lord and toward one another would be always increasing

2 Thessalonians 1:3 – We ought to thank God always concerning you, brothers, even as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly and the love of each one of you all to one another is increasing.

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His speaking during the recent Crystallization-study training on the books of 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther:
a. Let us pray that the Lord’s speaking would reach all the saints in His recovery and issue in the strengthening of the saints and the churches and in the building up of the Body of Christ
b. Pray for the remaining review sessions for this week being held tomorrow and Thursday

3. The upcoming FTTA gospel trips taking place in Europe and North America beginning later this month; a total of 233 saints will participate in these trips:
a. The gospel trips in Europe will consist of 16 teams and will reach 20 countries in Europe, such as Ireland, England, Portugal, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Romania, and will take place between January 26-February 9
b. The gospel trips in North America will consist of 20 teams in various locations throughout Canada and the United States, and will take place for the most part between January 27-February 11
c. Pray specifically for the two teams which will come to New York; one team (6 saints) will serve in NYC and New Jersey; the other team (7 saints) will visit the churches in Upstate NY

1. That all the saints would experience Christ as their new beginning and offer to the Lord a fresh consecration for this new year, and that the Lord will take the church on in 2023

Revelation 22:13 – I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

2. The continuation of the semiannual winter video training on the Crystallization-study of 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther this upcoming weekend in NYC and in all the local churches all over the globe

3. The raising up of the next generation for the church life–Thanksgiving to the Lord for blessing the church with so many children, young people, college age saints and young adults, and prayer for their preservation and for their being raised up to bear the Lord’s testimony

4. The strengthening of the church meetings and small group meetings this week

5. The strengthening and going on of the churches in Upstate New York

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)

The semiannual winter training on the Crystallization-study of 1 & 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther which will begin next Monday in Anaheim, and all the video trainings which will be held in many localities all over the earth (the video training in NYC will begin on Thursday, December 29)

2. Thanksgiving to the Lord for blessing the church in NYC with so many older saints and prayer for their health, their participation in and enjoyment of the church life and that each one will function to their full capacity

3. Thanksgiving to the Lord for all the children in the church and prayer for the children’s service in all nine halls and for the raising up of more neighborhood children’s meetings

4. Thanksgiving to the Lord for His care for the church in NYC throughout this year and prayer for the church’s further going on:
a. That all the saints of all ages would have the burden for the gospel
b. The shepherding of all the saints and all the new ones
c. The strengthening of the church meetings and small group meetings this week

5. The Lord’s move in the United States– That the Lord would strengthen all the local churches in the U.S. and preserve this nation for the preaching of the gospel and for the spread of His testimony at the consummation of the age

6. The various needs of the saints both locally and in other localities (e.g. physical and emotional, health-related, job-related, family-related, etc.)
